The festive season really started here in Forest Hill with the return of the annual Forest Hill Society Christmas Quiz.
The sold-out event took place at the All Inn One, where over 60 competitors gathered in an attempt to decipher, with varying degrees of success, the mind of our fabulous quizmaster, Gary.
... hint for future competitors, instead of studying the list of Christmas number 1's ... try to remember the also-rans at number 2!
Congratulations to "The Pub Team" who emerged as the winners on the night, earning a special Negroni gift set from Asterley Bros, beating the Cheatin' B***ards (who did not cheat), by a single point.
Together we raised £600 for Lewisham Foodbank thanks to the donations from participants and the generous support of Julia and Richard at the All Inn One who have offered to top up the funds to beat our £500 target.
