New Mural at Forest Hill Station

Help us to bring this wall to life and tell a story about Forest Hill and our historic corner of Lewisham and South East London.

Thanks to a grant from Lewisham Council, the Forest Hill Society is planning to enhance this large wall next to Forest Hill Station and the A205 South Circular with a mural - and the community will help us to decide what it should involve.

Throughout Spring and Summer 2024, the Forest Hill Society will be consulting with residents, businesses, artists and visitors to help us to decide what this mural should look like, and what story it should tell.

We will be working with Artmongers and the London School of Muralism to bring these ideas to life.

Go to the Events page to see when our next workshop is taking place so you can join in and tell us what you think would be a way to express the history, community and future of Forest Hill in a large, high profile mural.

Our goal is to make this space even more welcoming to visitors to the area, whether they are arriving by train or passing through by car, as well as to brighten the day of local residents and shoppers.
