Walk: Family Walk

A short walk along Dartmouth Road to the hidden wild space near the Forest Hill Library at Albion Millenium Green, ideal for families looking for a quiet space

A circular walk, starting and ending at Forest Hill Station, that takes you along Dartmouth Road then to a hidden park at Albion Millenium Green, then back along the railway path to the station.

Kids love to run around and explore, so what better than a little patch of secluded "wilderness" only a few minutes walk from amenities on Dartmouth Road, like the Forest Hill Library, Pools, Louise House and the various cafes?

If you are starting in the centre of town, you can easily walk to and from Forest Hill Station either along the paved walk (if you have a buggy or wheelchair), or you can take the route along the railway line. Note that not all of the park is accessible to wheeling, but there are paths for easy walking.

Albion Millenium Green is looked after by the Friends of Albion Millenium Green and offers a space for walking, sitting, watching nature and lots of exploring!

During the organised walking events there will be some activities for children and adults in the park with some Forest Arts & Crafts fun.
