History of Forest Hill (an introduction)

This will be the first of a regular "Introduction to Forest Hill and Honor Oak History" events we have designed for new, and even existing, residents of the area who are keen to learn a bit more about how the area came to be built, who has lived here, what events have happened, and a few 'claims to fame' you can then use to impress your friends. Come along to meet members of the Forest Hill Society but also meet other residents and make some friendly connections. The presentation is short (30-45 minutes) and if you have any specific questions, maybe about your road or even your house, let us know in advance and we'll do our best to do some digging in the archives.
